These are listed as synthetic, but clearly are not. Note the forend spacer, pistol grip, and recoil pad. They are camo covered wood, both the forend and stock.

  • I would rather be shooting!!
Did you guys notice that one of the barrels is fluted? I know that the 270 does not come from the factory like that so he must of had it done somewhere. I kind of think the $399.00 buy it now price is a little high but would be a nice setup to have. Tim have you got a price yet on the Mossy Oak Monte Carlo set yet? I take it back I think it might be a reflection.

I also noticed that it said the 444 was legal for black powder season in Mississippi and Alabama. Mississippi yes but I don't think Alabama not unless they have changed it in the last few days.

The loose barrel sure looks fluted to me too. She didn't have the price or part # handy when I asked for it, and she was rushed as usual, so I just told her I'd get it off the invoice when I got it.

Looks like an aftermarket fluting job on the loose barrel to me.

I'm thinkin' that is just the lighting/flash, you don't think he would have overlooked that like them synthetic camo stocks, do you. It sure does look like flutes, but they fade out towards the muzzle end.
