Guide Gun load suggestions?

I picked up a guide gun this week and shot it some this weekend.  I shot last year leverevolution ammo and got around 3" groups.  I picked up some of the new slower loaded leverevolution but didn't shoot any of it yet.  A friend gave me some of the sierra 300 grain bullets because they didn't group well out of his handi.  I loaded them with IMR 4198 and they went all over the target page for me as well.  He tried them with H 4198.  I have seen people talking about getting 1" groups with these guns, what loads seem to give good results?  Also, what type of groups have others gotten with the leverevolution in your guide guns.  I am a reloader so any option is viable.

300grain Remington jacketed hollow point over 40 grains of REL7.Excellent load.

I've had good results with RL-7 and VN-130 using 300, 350, and 405's

Mine likes IMR3031 and the RCBS 405 grn cast.

 Not the fastest. But accurate enough for my needs.

Actually, 55 grains of H4198 under a 300 grain bullet in Winchester brass with CCI200 primers is a good load in my 45-70 rifles.  If yours doesn't like between 45 and 55 grains of H4198 with the 300 grain Remington HPs, then try 43 to 53 grains of IMR4198 with them.
