30-30 spitzer data

Im gonna load some for my single-shot 30-30 and i cant find any data for spitzer bullets. I was thinking 150 grain Hornadys or Gamekings. Anyone know where to find this data? thanks

Several manuals show spitzer data for the TC in their handgun section, it works even better in rifles that can accomodate spitzers!! Both Hornady and Sierra show TC data, powders listed are N130, RL7, IMR4895, AA2460, IMR3031, N135, H335, BL-C2, Win748 in the Hornady book. Sierra list most of those plus N133, IMR4198 and BR2015BR. Pick your poison...er..powder and I'll post the data. :D

Okay thanks alot. I dont have the handi-rifle yet so i havnt seriously looked in any manuals. I guess just look for TC data and use that?

Sierra makes a very good 135 grain bullet.  They have date in their Sierra manual for this bullet.  I have shot these bullets in a few different firearms with mixed results.  They shot great in a bolt action 30-30, but shot terrible in one of my Contender's.  Tom.

My wife has been using the 125g Remington pointed soft point pushed by H335 at a velocity of around 2600 fps with very good results. She has taken a few whitetails and I have even taken a couple of coyotes with the load. The rifle used is a Stevens model 325. I have also used this load in a single shot rifle with a 24" barrel. It had great accuracy and was deadly out past 250 yards.
