Here's a few things I finished up this week. The patchknives have blades ~3" long. One is handled with some South Texas native wood, the other is the humerus of a deer and dyed a bit with some leather oil dye. Both have wrought iron gaurds and 1084 steel blades.
The flask is a huge hunk of cow thighbone with padouk wood end caps. I can swich out the tips for different measures. It holds about 4oz of powder. I still have to put the fill hole/plug in the bottom. It'll be made with some antler sections and a brass cap. It'll get used with the 50-75 cal gonnes as well as for making pre-loaded measures for larger ones.
EDIT to add: I've got several emails...no, I don't make flasks commercially, just for fun. This one was a practice one for some reproduction pieces I want to do for my own use. I didn't photo the side I tried engraving.
I got the hardware for it from Track of the Wolf, and I highly recommend them.
