Yes, it needs a screwdriver to unlock it to make adjustments, but you can replace the lock screw with a thumb screw to allow toolless adjustments. There are pics of the sight in the FAQs in the Peep and Firesights link.

Here's the thread with a pic of Bernie's FP Target sight with the knurled knob screw replacing the set screw. Williams has the knurled knob, IIRC.

One thing to remember...if your rifle has the extractor only, and does not eject the round, the sight will be in the way a bit.  The sight hangs out past the end of the breech about .5 inch or so.  It makes retrieving a spent shell a bit more difficult.  Only a problem with fast reloads (hunting or competition)and such.  It wont be a problem for normal target/range shooting.

Actually the sight has 7/8" overhang at the aperture and ¾" on the left side.  My 45-120 BC is an extractor by choice, I don't have a problem reloading at all, a heck of a lot quicker than reloading a muzzleloader and I never see folks gripe about them. :D Would be with heavy gloves on, but I don't see that as an issue most of the time, I usually remove my right glove when I reload my muzzleloaders in the field, could do the same if I had to with the FP sight. ;)

Jake,
I just bought one with the target knobs.  The windage is adjustable without tools. The elevation has a lock bushing with a slotted screw.
