   I bought a couple of pairs of B-Square rings a few weeks ago. $10 a set at my local gunshop. they are really nice.

Bsquares are great have a set myself.  However these are a double extension set, (two extension rings instead of 1 extension and 1 regular) which will allow for moving the scope rearward for proper eye relief and power ring positioning.

I've never had any problems with the angle locs, you do have to take special care in mounting because both sides of the ring have screws and you can cock the scope if you are not careful.

I have several sets of Millet Angle Loc rings and they all work GREAT. If you think about how they are supposed to work and then adjust them correctly they do work extremely well. I have heard of those here that don't like them and prefer other rings but they work for me and I am going to buy several more sets at that price.
I have heard of guys that run their cars or trucks out of oil and ruin the engine. They then complain for years that that brand, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, whatever, is no good, others hear that and repeat it. I suspect this is the case here as well. I have used them, they work great for me and I will continue to use them. Of course, before I installed them I read the directions and tried to follow them, as well as applying my own understanding of mechanics and how things work. I have tried to be polite in deference to those here that I like and respect that do not like these rings. I will buy more and follow the directions when I install them. I am sure I will continue to be happy with them.

P.S. - I know most guys do not read instructions or at least do not like to read instructions, and that includes me, however there are sometimes that it does help. This is one of those times. With a little thought and after reading the instructions these rings work GREAT....

I was looking for a set of extension rings for my new 7x57 handi and thought I'd try the Millet angle locks.  Unfortunately this was before the sale.  Darn good price that!  Anyway, one of the angle locks broke in half when I was tightening it.  Called Millet and they sent me a couple of spare locks.  Good customer service, but I don't think it should have broken in the first place.  The lock looked more like pot metal then steel, and the rep said they had had some heat treating problems.

To properly mount a scope using Millett Angle-locs, a ring alignment tool should be used, or the scope tube can easily be tweaked and damaged.

Millett makes nice steel rings that adjust from both sides, called Angle Loc Rings. These require some skill to make sure you don't really kink the scope, though, since it is possible to force the scope into rings adjusted to opposite sides of the mount. They also make the cheap Weaver aluminum base look even cheaper. If you go for the nice Millett rings, get their steel Weaver-style base as well. Millett also makes a cheaper aluminum Weaver-style that is not adjustable, called Angle-Loc Detachable. Despite the name, they are not quick-detachable rings.

The problem I have with them is that they seem strong in the fore and aft direction however they are somewhat lacking in the side to side direction.  I had some on a rifle and when I took it out of the soft case at the range one of the little clamp thingies was broke off, this pritty much runied my day, but not as much as if I had driven two hours into the bush for a hunt.  They do look good, but I will just stay with the clunky Burris z rings. If you have to remove a scope in the Millets you will have to start from scratch getting it sighted in again.  Larry

Hey, to each his own, but my 2 cents worth:

1.  I agree with Larry, if you remove the scope then you have to rezero.  This defeats the one of the advantages of Weaver style bases (the other advantage being simplicity).

2.  If you adjust BOTH rings for windage in the exact same number of turns then you can offset the scope to the bore.  What most people do is try to make the windage adjustment with only the back ring and they damage the scope. 

3.  They are too heavy.

4.  The ridges inside the rings don't make sense to me.  Why limit the contact area of where the rings meet the tube. 

I bought a pair and sold them off.
