Sako Finnfire
« on: May 29, 2003, 11:09:28 AM »
I've been shooting BRNO/CZ's for a few years and though they are decent rifles, especially for the price I think I'd like to upgrade. I want something I can shoot in hunter and silhouette class's. The only readily available rifle around (in Canada) seems to be the SAKO.

Are they worth the price?

Anchutz's seem to be very popular but I can't find a dealer that carries them. Any recommendations.

Hi Eroyd,
There are other alternatives: Anschutz, Kimber.
On our side of the border you can find Kimber at The Shooting Edge Inc. Their site is  www.theshootingedge.com or tel. at 403-720-8147, Calgary AB
Anschutz is distributed by North Sylva Co. Thier web site at www.northsylva.com. or tel. at 416-242-4867.  Ontario.  Ask for Dave; he has been extemely helpful to me lately in my Anschutz inquiries.
I have a Kimber SVT and Anschutz 54MS; love 'em both.
hope this is of some help.

regards,

Marty
