Deal or No Deal

I have a opportunity to purchase a 1998 manufacture 30/30 barrel in 99% condition for $85. I know the price is a little high but the barrel is an ejector which makes it tempting. Is  it worth it?

Heck yes it's worth it...especially if you want a 30-30 barrel...Buy it...

Worth it to me...I can't think of a centerfire barrel I would pass on at $85... ;D

That is not an unreasonable price to put a desirable barrel in great shape in your hands, in fact it is a good price, I say go for it. I know an ejector 30-30 barrel shipped for $85 would not last through more than the first one or 2 members to see it posted here. 30-30's are great shooters in these fine handy Handi's....<><....:)

P.S. - offer the seller $75 and see if he will go for it, if not, pay the $85....

You'll all be happy to know negotiations are in process. According to all I've read the 30-30 is a handi must have. Hopefully it works out. This will be my first barrel fitting also, with the good instructions and some help if needed hopefully I'll be able to "gett-er done."

Welcome aboard , you'll like the 30/30 , mine shoots everything i feed it , from 90gr HPs up to the 180gr Spitzers and it just flat loves anything cast .
