308 Wisconsin Cartridge
« on: July 04, 2007, 01:38:40 PM »
Mac listed this company in my 308 thread and was wondering if any of my handi brothers have ever used them before. Sure got some good prices. I was also wondering if the 150gr load at 2750 fps would be a good whitetail deer load.

Never used them, but a 150 at 2750 will poleaxe any whitetail that ever walked.

I have ordered from http://www.wisconsincartridge.com/ and was happy with the order.  If you are in a hurry, check either by a phone call or email to make sure the ammo you want is in stock or your order may be delayed.  I always got a prompt reply to my inquiries.  This ammo is either loaded new brass or once fired brass.  If you ask they will let you know which for your caliber.  I ordered .204, .223, .25-06, .45-70 & 7.62x39.  I haven't shot all calibers yet, but I have been happy with what I have been able to shoot.  A few of the .223 cases looked a little rough, very small dings here and there.  But I don't think it effected the accuracy, at least at my skill level.
