CG-63 in .308
« on: July 04, 2007, 04:34:44 PM »
i picked up a good condition CG-63 in a horse swap a while back. a few odd things though
it's a .308 not a 6.5x55, and had a parker hale peep instead of that standard diopter sight. can anyone tell me anything about this, would these be factory mods? does this increase or decrease the value?

turns out it's a CG63E, made in 7.62x51 for export to the British and Canadian markets, very rare in the US.

Parker-Hale was the importer of these rifles in the 1970's hence the fitment of P-H sights.
