Encore 20 ga slug accuracy problems

I am posting this for a friend. He has an Encore with a 20 ga. rifled barrel and has spent several hundred dollars trying different slugs for accuracy with very poor results. Do any of you have accuracy probelms with this setup or recommendations of loads that shoot well for him to try?

What is the twist rate in the 20 ga Encore? I understand that twist rate has a great impact on which slug will group and which will pattern.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hey did he try the el-cheapo or the more expensive one first?  Cause I just got a Remington 870 20 gage fully rifled barrel and it loves the el-cheapo $2.99 box rather than the $15.00+ boxes.  I am getting 3 inch grouping or better at 100 yards with the cheap ammo.  Good luck, let me know how it goes.
