did the set up ...i will only use it to mark the hunting camp, then walk across the hills [caribou hunting]to find my way back ..i have been up in northern QUEBEC 4 times and it is very easy to get lost ..is it a good buy .. i did not want anything too complicated .

Suggest you practice with it while out doing your pre-hunt fitness training.  Your hunting situation appears to be ideal for a gps.
