Overlooked 22 Single Action
« on: May 31, 2003, 11:48:13 AM »
I see a number of gun magazine articles on the Ruger 22 single action guns and the Heritage 22s. I like Rugers (I have a .45 Blackhawk and a .45 Vaquero- both 7.5" and a 5.5" .44 Redhawk), but I think there is a good 22 that is being overlooked. I bought a EAA Bounty Hunter 22/22mag (6.75") a few years ago that I am very happy with. It is built on the same frame as the .45 Colt / .44 magnum frame that EAA makes, so it is full sized and therefor a bit heavy. EAA did make a smaller, lighter 22 earlier, but then went to the full sized gun. It runs about $200. Has anyone else had the same experience.
