I own several of both, and have used both in a combat situation. While I like the AR I would never choose it over the AK in a urban, or jungle combat situation. The AK is one of, if not the best, all round combat weapons ever developed.
The video seems to lean slightly towards the AR in the accuracy department, and this may be true with the test guns, but I have seen AKs that were exceptionally accurate out to about 200 yards, the range in which most urban or jungle battles are fought, some of them would group less than six inches at 200 yards.
