Not exactly, although I understand what you are indicting...there were four of them, there could be more (or less). I would LOVE to get all four.
My regular hunting partner, who is joining me, is disabled from lung cancer and can not walk long distance (50 feet) without losing his breath. I have to get him on stand first, then situate myself to catch them in a cross fire without endangering Dave or me. The tree stands are pre-set this way, but we don't usually use them this way.
I am also thinking of asking the Sheriff across the street, my neighbor, if he has the time to join us and I will let him take my place on the cross fire line (an EASY shot) and I will scoot to the back end of the property to catch any stragglers that get away or arrive late to the PARTY.
Killing them ALL is the desired strategy. No stragglers or run aways. If one gets hit and doesn't go down, the adjacent lands, and mine, are too thick to go after hogs without dogs, which I don't have.
