380 Snake Shot?
« on: July 16, 2007, 03:52:20 AM »
Anyone make snake shot for the 380?

Looking at getting a Kel Tec P3AT and was thinking I could make a snake gun out of it, too.

No one makes it.  Overall loaded length is too short for an effective shot capsule and the case is too short for any handloaded shotshell efforts.  I believe that the 9mm is the shortest centerfire round available.  You might look at getting a good .22 for field use.  Cheaper ammo and very effective shot loads.
