Yes, get a reloading manual, better yet get 2 or 3! I'm getting back into reloading and my first purchase was Lyman's 48th Edition Reloading Handbook. This book has much more info than recipes. Before the loading data, the handbook has safety info, equipment needed, reloading components info, reloading process, pressure and ballistics info, and firearm care. Good choice for any reloader. I also have the "Lee Shooter" disc which has reloading data from Accurate Arms, Alliant, Hogdon, IMR, and VihaVuori powder manufacturers.
Starting in reloading without a manual is like taking a trip in unfamiliar territory without a map; you may get to your destination but, you may also have some dangerous side trips.
