Gmountain. I think you may have misunderstood the post. As far as shipping goes he said. Did my auction listing have the phrase "Buyer pays actual shipping costs" anywhere in it? What he is saying is it is a flat $5.00 charge to ship this item to you. It was up front in the auction listing. If you do not agree with the shipping don't bid on the item. It does not matter if you live next door to him or across the country. I have sold items on Ebay that have a flat shipping rate. I have lost money sending it across the country. In other words it cost me more than the $5.00 listed in the auction. On the other hand if you sell enough stuff it may cost you less than $5.00 it all averages out.

Not meaning to start a flame but" how much does it cost to go to the post office  50 cents" I live 61/2 miles from my post office.   so 13 miles roundtrip. My truck gets 14miles to the gallon,yesterday gas was $3.21 a gallon here.If you care to do the math it appears to me that $5.00 is   reasonable.  my2c   Doug
