BILL. I can't disagree with anything you said. For what was said and done you did the right thing. I know you and I will never agree on this, but I still believe that if tg had kept quiet and not antagonized bm that he'd still be here. Seems you forgot ~15K years of NA coexistence with whatever these things are and apparently they didn't need to shoot one to prove (to themselves) the existence thereof.

The 1967 Patterson film is generally acknowledged as what got all the interest in these things into high gear with the vast majority of "BF research" (whatever the heck that actually constitutes) evolving thereafter. At the ripe age of 15, I was into more things than BF at the time.

Zari you're new here and perhaps have no clue what's going on. You'd do well to move on to other forums here that seem to hold some interest for you like the NEF Forums. As I recall about half of the few posts you've made so far have been deleted for rules violations. This forum here is likely to get you booted from the site before you really get your feet wet if you're not real careful.

I came EXTREMELY close to doing that on your first day here. The ONLY thing that saved you was that post to the NEF forum. Had it not been there when I took that first notice of you then you'd be GONE now. I got a distinct impression you came here to cause trouble but that post gave me hope maybe not. Now you're starting to make me think my first instinct was right. I believe that ONE post to the NEF Forum is the ONLY one you've made so far that has not been an attack on John. Not a good start.

Just remember that around here I'm THE ONE PERSON you don't wanna piss off and you're coming real close to pissing me off.

Unlike the other old head members taking part in this argument you've NOT been here long enough for me to over look your improper comments. They get more leeway than a brand spanking new member and even they get called on the carpet from time to time on it.

Other than the moronic activity's like shooting rifles/shotguns and noises and unidentified creatures in the dark i think your bunch is harmless,even then your only likely to hurt one of your own so no biggy.If you had ANYTHING to show for your "research" beyond a bunch of tall tales i might even recognize you as legitimate,at least hoaxers like patterson managed to achieve something positive in the field,he brought lots of attention to it and without him you probably wouldn't have ever considered looking for one.

When looking around at the majority of BF websites I can see how you arrive as such conclusions although in the overall sense I think your mind is like concrete in that it's thoroughly mixed up & permanently set.

There are some things in process that in the near term may well prove illuminating to the public as IMHO no serious person engaged in working on this issue has yet posted his/her findings on ANY BF website for ALL of the obvious reasons. Most of those sites are probably a fair comparison with the National Enquirer as far as accuracy and any intellectual honesty goes.

In the continuing effort to provide you with "quality" cheap entertainment the following is submitted for your viewing pleasure.

Basically, it consists of a feud between two competing BF websites with one accusing the other of "poaching" it's members. What's interesting is the accused website owner is one of the main participants in the upcoming Honobia BF Festival. Just goes to show this "field" is more of a soap opera (As The Stomach Turns) than any actual work being done to solve the mystery. Looks like there's more "mining the miners" going on than much of anything else....

Many of you probably don't know, that the older hands of the MABRC helped get Stan Courtney's forum, the North American Bigfoot Forum jump started. It was our research it was first built upon.

Currently, I can receive PMs over at Stan's forum, but can't send them, because the admin has disabled that feature on me. The same is true for DO, his is the same way.

I have sent e-mail after e-mail to Stan asking him why, and he will not answer me.

Since he won't respond, I posted in the admin area over at his forum asking why.

If it gets deleted, fine Stan, I know you and your mods read this board. So I post the question here, why am I banned from sending pms?

Bottom line, you and your mods are more than welcome to join this forum, and I give you my word, that I won't disable features on you or them. That is not our way here. This is for everyone in the world to see, you've been invited to join us, and be a part of this online community. I would even be willing to help you add features to your forum, to enhance it, but this crap that happened in the past needs to be forgotten.

The reason I posted the aforementioned is to illustrate the petty squabbling that is endemic within the BF realm not because of any "troubles".

Their "stories" are either recycled drivel, fabrications and/or outright hoaxes.

NOW, do you wonder why things are so quiet on the "real" BF boards when it comes to reporting genuine field findings and observations?

It's because;

1) They are few and far between.

2) The "real" BF guys would never post anything on those boards.

Yours is a beautiful state--and I was impressed with how clean it was where we traversed it. If there are any Big Feet in your part of the country, Glacier would be the place for them to hide. That is quite a place.

Thanx for coming by the office this AM and showing me your new "toy" (commemorative rifle won at a recent Friends of the NRA banquet) and sharing an account of the bear hunt.

This thread has suffered somewhat primarily from the incessant carping by a couple of fellas that I'm still picking on 'ol BM and even DO (fireman, et. al.) by constantly running them down. However, when you go to BM & DO's "newest best friend's" website you'll note DO has a section dedicated to "DO's research" with twelve (12) pages and counting of verbiage BUT with one critical issue. Of all the time and all the money he has spent/invested in his efforts he admits to never having a FTF encounter!

"I haven't learned much for all the time and money invested, but i can be pretty sure that they will see you getting your men together and planning your circle and flushing techniques, and they will always stay just far enough ahead of you to watch you, or just far enough behind you that you may hear something, or maybe catch a glimps. some of the techniques you are describing are being used right now by many people. the bigfoot did not survive in our woods this close to us without all the natural abilities that make normal ambush techniques obsolete when it comes to them.
then on the other hand, people have put in years of habituation to garner a decent view. the places i go, i don't have that kind of time, so i will stick to smell and visual stimuli while hiding and viewing when they don't know it.
remember of most of the sightings that i have read ( but not all of them) if the bigfoot see you watching them, or you are pursueing them, then their behavior is not natural. I want to watch them stalk and hide and scream and throw things with my own eyes. It could happen

That speaks volumes for all these so-called BF researchers and their efforts as the vast majority of FTF encounters are happenstance by individuals NOT engaged in "BF research"....DUH!

Maybe those guys need a new hobby?

BTW, at some point I may post up about the FTF on the Miller ranch (01/04, while duck hunting) or the other one out on our island lease (10/04) but will put them up on the other forum so the malcontents won't be so quick to throw darts.

IMHO, the purpose of this particular forum is not to furnish you with "stories" for entertainment value as you can easily go to some of the other websites (previously mentioned) and get your fill of such "information".

As you've complained for the 1,499th time about the lack of "stories" on here may I suggest that you take your ball and go elsewhere?
