CZ 452 Trainer

So I've decided on this rifle for my next squirrel gun. Who has one and what do you think of it. Do you have any pictures of groups you shot with it??? Thanks..

That's nice for you. Usually we shoot singles not groups of squirrels.

I can never get them to stand just right to get groups.  I also have just been able to shoot one at a time.

  I had a CZ 452 Training Rifle and I used the CCI Velocitor bullet in it.  I shot 25 rounds through a hole you can cover with a quarter at 50 yards.  They are excellent guns for the money and the Velocitor is hard core bullet for a .22.  I used this combination to shoot the eyeballs out of some squirrels. Fine little gun but the trigger was a little rough.  Once I mastered it's pull, it was as fine a .22 as you'll ever own for accuracy.

I've had a CZ for years and just love it.   I've got an old 100 yard target put away somewhere.  I'll dig it out and post its picture.

Found my targets that I'd saved.   Made this test in February of 1995, using sandbags at 100 yards and just a little bit of a breeze.   The only way I can get these pictures to post is attach them, sorry.   Also my CZ 452 is probably a little different than your Trainer.   Mine says Sporter.   It has tangent Rear sights, Interchangable front sights, adjustable trigger.   It is scoped with a Weaver Variable 16 pwr.   Is it a complete different rifle than the Trainer? 

  UpDate Aug 18th:   I read on another Forum that theTrainer and Special are the same as my Sporter.  So that answers my question.

For those who can't see the pic.  I used 10 rounds of Winchester T 22 ammo.   4 rounds hit the Bull, 3 rounds in the 10, and 3 rounds in the 9.   They all fit well in a 2 1/2" circle.  6 were within 1 1/4" of each other.  The other pic is my 1992 CZ 452 BRNO 2-E with tanget rear sights.   A Weaver variable scope on Weaver see thru mounts.

Always wanted a 10 round magazine. "Rimfire Sports and Custom, of VA" has them.  Just got mine in the mail.  Ordered it on Aug 6th..   They don't charge shipping thru USMail.   Could have gotten it from other outlets, but they deliver UPS, so shipping charges are added.
