removeing stuck choke tube
« on: July 25, 2007, 05:53:32 AM »
Good day every one... I shoot a rem 870 special purpose 12 gauge with a rifled choke tube. I have removed the choke many times to clean the lead  from it. I used anti sieze on the treads most of the time when replacing it in the barrel. Now I cant get the choke out. I use the wrench provided with the gun . Can anyone help me with ideas to remove the choke         Thanks       Anthony

put the muzzle in a container of KROIL and let sit overnight. If that does not work SLIGHTLY heat the muzzle with a heat gun or propane torch be careful, do not overheat then submerge warm muzzle in COLD water, try this several times. If that doesn't work get professional help!
