Hog calls.

OK. I tried to search first and had no luck. Does anyone here use calls on wild hogs with success? I've seen it on a couple of videos but I would like first hand info on what works best.

We've discussed them numerous times here. The general consenus is they don't work.

I used a distress call once.  My son had 8 hogs coming to him until I started calling.  They broke to me, but the wind was against me.  I saw them coming to me.  Once they smelled me, they took off>

they work well if you call from a place where corn has been spread on the ground first with a feeder and the call is a feeder repeater type call !
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
