Ordered Chargemaster 1500 Combo today.
« on: July 27, 2007, 11:43:51 AM »
Yep, I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Chargemaster from MidSouth.  I looked around a bunch for a better price but $265 plus shipping was the best I could find.  On one website they were over $400!!  So, in about a week to ten days I'll be rearranging my reloading bench and wonder'n how in the name of heaven it got that crammed full of equipment!  My wife will tell me for sure!!

I have one and it is great. So convenient and accurate. It seemed to take forever to setup my powder thrower. Now I just calibrate, punch in the load, dump the power in and I am loading. It takes about 2 minutes from pulling it out to dumping accurate loads. ;D

Congratulations Dusty!

I am not the brightest crayon and figured that the chargemasters to be a gimmick till I realized that one could be seating & crimping while the machine is automatically weighing up that next charge...This should be almost like having two people at the loading bench which will be a great time saver...It should give you much more time to...Reload ;D

I arrived today but I'm short of time and won't get to unpack it until tomorrow after work.

Congratulations! I have had mine for about 2 years now and find it to be one of the most valuable tools on my bench

I got a chance to work with it today and it works as advertised.  I'm starting to ask myself what took me so long to get it.

Dusty,
As soon as everyone uses one of these for the first time they always wonder why they took so long to get one.  I've had mine for a couple years now and I probably wouldn't reload without it.
