DW 41 mag or 445 SuperMag
« on: July 30, 2007, 10:05:18 AM »
I was originally looking for a 41 Mag but have found a few 445 SuperMags for less.  I like the 41 mag cant justify the price difference.  Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks
Doug

Several years ago I was looking for a replacement for a 357mag I foolishly sold before going overseas for an extended time(shoulda just stored it) anyway I found a 357max in a pawn shop for half what the 357mags were going for.  I asked why and the clerk told me you can't get the bullets anymore as they stopped making that caliber.  I immediately bought the gun and after picking it up; I let the clerk know that the max can also fire 357 mag and 38 spec., but I found a source for brass and have probably a lifetime supply so i've rarely shot mags in my max.  I agree with a max; you can shoot 44 spec or mag or download the 445's for plinking or to get the recoil in the 41 range.  You also end up with a much stronger pistol.
