What to look for in a used revolver?
« on: August 04, 2007, 12:41:13 PM »
I know that there are a few things one needs to check out on any used revolver. Besides the obvious of bore/crown/overall wear and tear. How does one go about checking the timing and lockup and whatever else that I may be missing? What do you look for, how do you check it?

Here is another article by chuck hawks. http://www.chuckhawks.com/used_handgun.htm Not necessarily "all encompassing" but some good information. Chuck Hawks has some "slanted" views and opinions on certian issues....but this is America...... and I'm not in any way, shape or form a "fan" of his. But a few of his articles actually make sense and are worth reading.
