Using a Percussion .36 for sillouitte competition
« on: August 05, 2007, 10:42:48 PM »
I have a Kentucky Rifle .36 caliber that I want to put a tang sight on and then enter some competition Silhouette shooting.  Is this just a stupid idea?  If it is not, what range should I expect to shoot.  I really am interested in getting the maximum accuracy out of this great rifle.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you are talking about standard range with 50 pound rams at 200 meters, forget it . You may make one ring, but you would never knock it over.
