From his description I think it safe to assume he has a G2 frame with rifle butt stock and muzzle loader barrel and fore end and a scope base with no scope he is asking price on. It would be a complete muzzle loader rifle minus scope and being a Contender must go as a modern firearm not as a muzzle loader and FFLs must be involved in transfer. Normally muzzle loaders do not require FFL but Contender and Encores do.
tigercat the wood is not going to add to the value but might make it quicker to sell. Generally around here we tell folks a complete Contender is worth about $350-400 depending on what barrel and/or other accessories go with it. I'm not sure if muzzle loaders bring an equal amount or not. The G2 frame might bring a wee bit more than an older Contender frame but then with some it might bring less as well.
I'd say something in that $350 to $400 price range is a fair price.
