Trigger Pull
« on: August 07, 2007, 08:45:08 AM »
What is the factory set trigger pull and what are the user settings?  I am playing with a trigger pull on a 357 SuperMag which is very light and trying to get it up to a field use level.

Thanks
Doug

If you got a DW with a light trigger; it's either had a trigger job or (more likely) a spring kit added.  I've owned several and all had a relatively heavy trigger pull.  A switch to factory springs will up the trigger pull in both cases.  If it's had a trigger job; most replace the springs as well as polishing the contact areas.  On the small/med frames it's an easy do-it yourself job; on the max and large frames it requires pushing out retaining pins and careful removal of the trigger group.
