Barr or Barrow

While cutting (castrating) some wild boars in our club we got in to a debate whether a cut hog is a "Barr" or a "Barrow". Any input would be appreciated.
P.S. For those of you who use feeders, keep them going throughout the summer.

The correct name for a castrated hog is "Barrow". In many locals Barrow has been shortened to Bar or Barr. Here in East Texas if you used the term Barrow, refering to a hog, people would probably think you were talking about a hog for loan.
