Esteemed Board

I have a CRVENA ZASTAVA 99, made in Yugoslavia, and need a spare mag. It's in .40 S&W. This is the pistol made in Serbia, that was the sidearm for the Serbian Army. We bombed the factory under Clinton. I have heard and read that Serbia sold the license to South Africa, and they are now making it and importing it as the TZ99.

It is not a CZ! It is actually a rather nice copy of the SIG works, but unique as far as I can find out.

Does anybody know where I can find a spare mag? Gunmags.com, or something like that, mentioned on another forum here, did not have them, could not cross reference the CZ99.

Any joy?

Shrunk Wayne: there are a couple of firms that make aftermarket magazines for many of the older semi-autos out there. I seem to recall a bit of a discussion about that Serbian handgun from previous posts.

If you can pick up a copy of the Shotgun News you should be able to find a couple of advertisements for aftermarket magazines for that pistol. Also, there is a place called Numrich Arms or Gun Parts America, which you should be able to access from the net, which may be of some help.

The most hope I've gotten from Shotgun News is J&B, who says to call them every week or so to see if they've gotten one in. After six months or more of this I kinda gave up.

I'll have to try Numerich and GunPartsAmerica.

Shrink: Give tripple K a look see they manufacture after market clips/magazines for various models I dont have a phone # or email address but I am sure you will locate them.
