Has anyone seen a Ruger Old Army with a 5 1/2 barrel and adjustable sights.  I see they are cataloged but are they available?

Hi Jerry,

I just checked the Ruger web site and the 5.5" version is only shown in fixed sight configuration.
I just ordered a stainless 5.5" Old Army. The gun sure looks good with the shorter barrel.

Best Regards,

I have a pair of the new stainless 5 1/2s too, but they are fixed sight for shootin' CAS. I would hate to have to shoot C&B in the modern class against all those BHs.
I also have a pair of blue 7 1/2" ROAs too and if I was going to use a C&B for hunting of something, the 7 1/2 is way more accurate.

I have a 7 1/2 inch.  I just thought the 5 1/2 might be handier to carry when prowling in the timber and as a carry gun.
