Glock model 30.
Because I still believe in the .45
I wish I had purchased the model 36 when I was in the market, because it would be a little lighter and more concealable, but I haven't had a problem with this one since I bought it, so in the holster it goes.
Like Edelweiss, I would feel comfortable with the 6+1 rounds of the 36 just as much as the 10 in the 30. If I ever have to use their services, chances are everything will be over in the first three shots anyway.
Edit:
By my name, I work as a surveyor, as opposed to the off duty gents posting before me (although I did work in LE in my younger days).
I chose the Glock because I get dirty, with leaves, twigs etc getting into my gear, as well as fording a few streams and such. When I come across someone defending their patch of Columbian, I have confidence that "Beechnut*" will hold up its end of the log.
*Yes, I named my 45 "Beechnut"
