has anyone done trigger work?

hello, i have a rossi .223 hb. the trigger sure could use some work, have you ever polished or done trigger work on your rossi rifle?

Yes, it is fairly easy.  You will have to make a couple of short pins to be able to assemble it again, but you basically just take the trigger and hammer out, hone a little off the sear area and put it back together.  I bet you can find detailed instructins some place.  If not I thik the Handi rifles have a very simular trigger.  Larry

 ya, i am going to try that this winter,after all the woodchuck shooting is over for the year.I'd like to lighten it up to about 1 1/2 pounds or so.
