anyone know who sells a allen headed screw

My new 475 94 has a tendency to shear off the mag tube retention screw and im looking for a beefier unit with a allen screw head.

Got any fastener supply places there? I'd try them. Would probably be in an industrial part of town...I've got a "Fasteners-Industrial" in my phone book. I'd start there, Lloyd.

try LOWE'S they have some odd stuff in the fastener section , check the drawers of parts and screws , maybe a grade 8 or stainless steel ! would work , ya may have to re-tap hole , not sure of sizes aval.

+1 on Brownell's, they've come thru for me many times when looking for -40, -48 and -56 tpi gun screws, you just need to know what size and style to search for. Their CS is good too, wouldn't hurt to ask em, I'm sure others have had the same problem. ;)

In my case I would try the guy at the local small gun shop.  He is knowledgeable, and keeps a supply of factory replacement screws, and a supply of Allen screws.  The neat part is that he does not mind you bringing in an empty firearm to get the right size screw.

My point is check with your local shop.

Just go to Brownell's and type in torx.  They should have what you need.  MV out!
