Pardner shooting 6" low at 15 yards...
« on: August 14, 2007, 04:25:20 PM »
I tried 00 buckshot and 2 different slugs and I had to hold about 6" high at 15 yards. I didn't bother going out any further since I was afraid I wouldn't even be on the paper.

What's a good fix for a low shooter?

Bend adjust the barrel, that's the way the old timers did it, I've done it, works fine!! ;)

Most of my shotguns (I have a few) shoot low at close range, make sure you can see a little barrel and the sight... As long as it's just low and not a windage issue don't worry about backing up, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, most of mine are point on between 30 and 50. Good luck.
