Haven't ordered from Classic, but have ordered a couple of times each from AIM and J & G, and no problems yet.  Guns have been as advertised or possibly a little better.  Been happy so far.  I've only ordered rifles, no handguns (yet).  Enjoy your C & R license, it's the most expensive $30 you'll spend.   ;D

SOG has been great!

I've been shafted by AIM and will never buy anything from them again.

I have delt with Aim Surplus,  Southern Ohio gun,  Century arms and Samco and never had any problems yet.  Some of my best deals have come from Aim with there specials.

I have heard great things about Empire arms too.  He is a tad higher in price but he rates his guns lower so your getting a better condition gun.  I never heard one thing bad about Empire arms.

Overall its the luck of the draw......I been really lucky so far even with gunsamerica and auction arms too.

BTW;  You will make your $30 back on your first purchase....you can get a discount on ammo and accessories at www.midwayusa.com too and other places too by having your C&R its more savings than just guns.

I'm surprised by the couple of negative responses about AIM.  I've ordered 3 rifles and several spam cans of surplus ammo from them and have had no complaints.  In fact, their shipping rates are much better than J & G.  BigBill, Terry will get some price break from Midway on accessories or supplies, but unfortunately, they still won't sell ammo to anyone in Illinois.  I've been bugging them to do that, but last time I checked (about 8 weeks ago) they still weren't "set up" to sell to us residents of the Peoples Republic of Chicago (the whole state, I don't live in Chicago, I just get ruled by Daley).   >:(
