A Timney won't work
« on: June 04, 2003, 02:56:58 PM »
When I said the trigger pull on my new lefthand Ruger M77 Mark II was heavy, a suggestion  was made to buy a Timney trigger.  According to the Technical Specifcations & Use page at MidwayUSA , the Timney will not fit lefthand guns.  OK, now what about a "plan B"?  Find a good gunsmith?  Anyone know of one in Iowa?  Thanks,  Jim

2eagles,

Don't buy from Midway, go to Timney and get it from them.  Lawdog

I have a LH Ruger MKII and had a timney trigger installed, there is a model for the LH gun.  It is not the same as the one for a RH gun.
