307 Marlin Express

Thinking about purchasing a 307 Marlin Express, just wondering what others have experienced with it

I'm familiar with the old .307 Winchester and a new .308 Marlin but not the round you mention.

You must be referring to that very hard-to-find, quite expensive round with no available reloading components in the forseeable future.  Isn't that the same one that won't equal a good .307 Winchester or .300 Savage when  handloaded?  If so, then you are obviously thinking of the .308 Marlin.
