NEF COMBO QUESTION......

I looked in the FAQs but didn't see a direct answer, so forgive me if its there.
Anyway, If I buy a muzzleloader/.243 combo (new) I would have to be getting the SB2 reciever right?
Just don't want to be stuck with a cheap reciever in case I want to add more barrels.

I forgot to mention I think this combo has been at the dealer for some time ( maybe 2 years).
I'm not sure of the manufacture date but that may not matter with this combo.

The mfr date will matter if you decide you want a high pressure barrel, even tho it already has a 243 barrel fitted, if it was made prior to '99, H&R won't fit any of the barrels marked with an asterisk * to the frame, it would be a good idea to check the data of mfr, that info can be found in the FAQs and Help sticky. ;)

If you don't mind me asking, what are they getting for that combo gun?I have a stainless 243/50 cal. I was thinking of selling but don't know what to ask.maybe you could PM me.

044,     The combo was marked down to $247, not sure what they sold for in years past.
   
Also this isn't stainless, I'm sure that would make a difference.

Update...........Went to get the combo but, the 22" bull barrel turned into just a plain smooth 22" barrel.
So no combo. Back to looking.
