As many of you know, Graybeard has invested considerable expense in an upcoming system upgrade to the GBO site, at present, there have been few dollars donated to help in offsetting that cost. We can show our appreciation for Bill and this site by contributing a little to keep this site the best on the internet and help Bill and his family in the financial investment he's made to improve site operation. If everyone contributes a small amount, $5, $10, $25, it would sure help. It's as easy as hitting the "Donate" button at the bottom of most GBO forum pages, or you can send a check/money order to Bill at the address in the link below.

Slow but still trickling in from time to time. I think Matt has transferred $400 from the donations via Pay Pal and credit cards and from the way he talked there might be another $50-75 to be transferred but he only does it when it builds to $100 I think. Matt keeps up with the donations via the buttom at bottom of page so I'm not 100% sure of the stats on that but I think we've had a couple of donations as low as $2 and at least one maybe more of $50 and some $20 donations so far. I think he said we got another $50 just this week.

I've gotten perhaps 5-6 checks so far ranging from a low of $20 to a high of $150 with a couple of $50s tossed in. I'd have to look to see but I think the total so far is still a bit under $800 but might be a wee bit more. Everything helps as the total out lay is huge.

I had to charge the cost of servers as I just didn't have that kinda cash laying around. As soon as the servers are shipped another bill for about $1200-$1500 will have to be paid. I've put all the donations so far plus our last two Google checks into the account to pay the new bill when we ship the servers and am still paying on the cost of servers. Perhaps enough will eventually flow in to cover it all but if not whatever does flow is helping as it was a huge investment for us. We're putting site income as well as donations toward paying it off.

The Donate button makes it easy and painless :-) I figure it is well spent money. It seems I spend more time on here than watching cable TV. My cable bill for a year would have paid for one of those servers.. LOL

Not so much that I'm "opposed" but just not smart enough to know how to do it. Matt does however and set up an account for GBO to use to accept payments which he then transfers into the GBO checking account and I do know how to use that.

You know I thought of that while sending mine last evening,then I got a good chuckle out of it just think using an anti gun sites tools to help a GREAT hunting site,hope it burns their arse.

Whew,I though he was going to cost me money!!My offer still stands,anyone want to chip in?Hey this is a great site,no THE BEST SITE,and it does cost money to keep going.So think about it and click the GBO server fund button at bottom of page and chip in what you can,hey it don't have to be a bunch just give $5,$10 or $15 its the best money you will spend!!

I love the site. Its a wealth of information. I have been here for some time and don't mention it nearly enough. The members here are TOP SHELF!!
