btw, the work is awesome. I have a buncha percussion guns, but this is my first flintlock. I fired 4 blanks tonight, just to check it out... went off every time... Lock time is almost instant. Even my wife tried it and said she thought there would be a noticable delay that, to her surprise, didn't happen

Very nice.  Who made it?  When I was a kid I saw a flintlock grenade launcher and have thought about building one.  Looks kind of like your blunderbuss but a bit shorter and had the "cup" on the end.

Sort of like this one? The note I have with the picture is that it's golf ball bore.

Cute and relatively easy to build.
