Can anyone report the spring rainfall has been in their part of Wyoming this year? We're all hopeing it's not drought conditions yet.

We needed 800% of normal mountain snowpack to get back to normal water levels in lakes. Some areas got 100%, but most areas got less. We had a reasonably wet spring here in SW Wyo, and things are green now, but it is expected to be another drought year.

We're doing pretty good right now. It rained all day yesterday. I went to Billings MT yesterday and it rained most of the way there and back. We even ran thru some snow in one spot!!!! We've had a wetter than normal (for the last few years) spring here in NW Wyoming

Theres a lake here that has been dry for a year and with all the snow we got this spring the lake is over half full. At one time last year they said we would need something like 35 feet of snow in the mtns to bring us back up to normal moisture

The rainfall in Central Wyoming has been good this year compared to the last three years. We're not out of the drought by any means but the landscape is much greener and the grass and weeds are alot taller than they've been in a good while. It ought to be a good year for antler and horn growth, especially antelope. The conditions for fawning have been excellent and with a little luck we'll have a good recruitment of deer and antelope fawns this year. :-)
