colt 45

i am going to look at 2 colt pistols one is a 70 series government and the other is an 80 series officers i would like both but i am wondering what kind of price these are going for these are pretty good price but just curious what is going price i saw a 70 series government for $750 is this fair price

750 range for both is a fair deal. Some people will pay some pretty overinflated prices for 70 series goverments though.

It really depends on condition.  If they are unmodified and in excellent condition, $750 is a very fair price for a series 70, maybe even a bargain.

the series 70 has had a trigger job and very good condition i will let you know what i get it for after i go look at it and decide to get it this will be my first colt and my first 1911 style pistol might as well be decent one

got the 70 series for $500 with 2 magazines  original grip and original trigger since it had been changed i have not shot it much yet but will hopefully get to put some bullets through it this week.
