BSA Cadet 12/15 re-chambered to .22 Magnum. Using only those Parker-Hale iron sights it'll shoot inside 2" at 100 yards all day long.

Chuck, if you have not tried mtguns.com then go to the british militaria website and look under martini resources. They will have a list of sources for 22 martini's. or could try gunbroker in the single shot rifles section, do a search for martini's should get you some choices. Or even try rimfirecentral.com and look in the martini section or classifieds. Actually for what you pay they are reasonable. My last 22 martini cost me about $325 with shipping. They are worth every cent. Frank

Nice Martini.
When I bought my Uberti baby rolling block, I had given up on finding a BSA Martini Cadet rechambered to .357 (they imported oodles of these in the '60s).

I'll throw up the photos of my 1885 low-wall rimfire

I've since replaced the buckhorn with a folding Marble's rear sight

I added a level clip to the front globe and replaced the front post insert with thin circle and X

5-shot groups at 50 yds

Here are couple of mine... Ruger 300 H&H and an Encore 25-35 with an SSK 9.3x74R barrel and extra forearm. Both have wood by Luxus.

My wife's Ruger #3 in 44 mag - XS sights; sling & cartridge cuff by Levergun Leather. IMHO, about the coolest little rifle ever made - I don't understand why they made so few of them.

Don, Pardon me but the BSA 12/15 is not a Cadet. It's a 12/15 there are differences and if I recall correctly the 12/15 has thicker walls to the action than the Cadet action. My own BSA 12/15 has a Bull barrel fitted:-

We believe it was a club rifle and sadly they shortened the butt stock a bit. I do have another std stock set but it is nowhere as nice as the one fitted. Mine is also still .22L/R chambered.

Actually it's fine as it is. The marks around it are powder deposits and it shoots just fine thanks.

It's a target rifle and yes they were just crowned like that. Shooters/owners were expected to take reasonable care of their rifles unlike today where folks expect everything done for them and everyones else fault. That they are awkward, dumb or plain too lazy to do so just has to be somone elses fault.

That's gotta be a AAA+ walnut stock.

I also like the look of those Mini Sharps, Hairtrigger.
I reckon they'd be the duck's guts in 38-55.

*sighs* all these beautiful single shot rifles, and all I've got to show off is an old bayonet handle.

It's chambered for 11.7 danish, but it does well using .45/70 cases and starter loads(about 1000fps) with lead bullets .
It also likes round balls and pyrodex.
