I thought I'd add a couple more to this.
From one extreme to the other you might say.
Here is the newest rifle in my collection - A Ruger No1 Tropical in 450/400 NE 3".
It was a little gift to myself after the birth of my 4th son whose names are Alexander Henry.
I thought it fitting I should get a falling block rifle based on a classic 450 cal after saddling him with that name.
The other is probably the oldest rifle in my locker, although not by much.....an early 1900s Remington Model 6 tilting block "Boys Rifle" in .22lr.
I've had it a while but the trigger is like pushing an elephant up stairs.
It needs lightening and my kids can learn to shoot this when they're a bit older.
