Bear hunter gets mauled

I would have to say that "almost tore his thumb completely off his hand" is reaching a little far.  I've put 50 rounds through a .500 in one day, and though not feeling great, my thumb didnt get ripped off, or close.

It's the comments from anti hunting and animal rights people I find disturbing.

I have to agree, the anti hunting crowd showed up quick to toot there horn.  If it was there kid that got attacked they would want the bear killed. Funny how one act can change ones mind.

I had to laugh at the report of the thumb almost being ripped off buy the 460 Mag. Are they sure the bear did not do it, LOL...
