Recomendations for a guided hog hunt in TX or OK...
« on: August 24, 2007, 06:31:00 AM »
Does anyone have personal experience with a guided hog hunt in TX or OK?  There are a bunch of hunts that come up on a search but narrowing them down is tough.

I'm looking for a rifle hunt from a stand...I use a wheelchair so stalking is pretty much out.  I'm primarily looking for meat hogs.  I've hunted private ranches in CA in the past with good luck but they are no longer available to me.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks,
Tim

WOW!  Chain Ranch looks like the best I've seen!  I've been searching the internet for a couple weeks and hadn't heard of the Chain Ranch...so much for my search abilities!  Thanks!

     Hey Dusty Wheeler,

I'm no expert and have never been on a ranch hunt.  Having said that I will be hunting here in early Oct. The hogs are 100% wild.  Ground stands are available and there are a good number of meat hogs there.  I sent you additional; check your PM's.
