6.5x284 T/C Barrel need OAL

I have a new T/C custom shop barrel in 6.5x284. I need a suggested OAL of a loaded round. The chamber seems short.

I found one drawing doing a google search that shows 3.228".
I googled "6.5x284 reloading data" to get that.

 All you need to do is long seat a bullet into a case and insert into the chamber of your barrel (off the rifle)  being carefull to bypass the extractor. If it won't fully chamber reduce the COL and repeat, untill your case head fits flush with the breach face on the barrel. At that point I reduce the COL by an additional .040 and start from there.

Thanks  for the replies. I was looking for someone with actual experience with the T/C barrel in this caliber. I just finisihed shooting the new Savage 12F in 6.5x284. I had some loaded ammo left over and tried that. It would not camber 3.17OAL rounds which I thought was strange. I'll start all over and work the trial and error method.
