Is it just me or

does my BC shoot as good as my7 Shiloh Sharps? I had rather shoot the BC as the weight of the sharps is more than I am willing to carry. I really can't tell $.10 worth of difference in there groups as both are far more accurate than I am capable of. ???

That's why I carry Handis.  They are so much lighter, and shoot just as good as the heavier guns.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Freightman, I believe there's truth in that question.  I shoot a Pedersoli and a Uberti (45-70's) but the best group has been with 'El Cheapo'.  The 5 shot group was 7" x 2 3/4" with 3 holes one could cover with a half dollar .... at 600 yards and black powder.  Never been able to duplicate that group

I wouldn't have this Shiloh except a friend who buys expensive guns called one day and said "I have a Sharps and I do not like it it is too heavy"! I was thinking a Italian Sharps so I get some trade goods ready and go. Well when I got there I had to go get more, he wanted a "Assult" rifle in 308 and a 7.62 AK and some ammo. I had at that time a Saiga in 308, and a AK that I had built and a 500 rd case of 308 ammo. Well that wasn't quite enough so I pulled up my shirt and ask if he needed a nice CCW with holster 357 Taurus 2", the deal was done at a cost of all my modern simi-autos and a carry gun. Even at that it was a small price to pay for a Shiloh Sharps in 45/70 with a high dollar tang and a adjustable bubble front sight. It has a heavy hex 34" barrel shoots great but it is 13+ # at least.
Forgot to add he is about 5'3" and 125# or so, and the Saiga was in the AK configuration as I had converted it awhile back. Me I am a little larger 6'1" and 240# use to be 6'2.5" but blew out two disk in '93 and lost an inch with the removal of the disk the other half went with old age.
