need help

has anyone  cut there shotgun barrel and put rifle sights on themselfs. I want to cut a 28in. down to22in and put on some sort of rifle sights on.its apardner 12 gage modified choke.

When you cut the barrel, it will no longer be a modified choke as you'll remove the choked part of the barrel, so if you need a choked barrel, you'll have to consider your options.

Have a smith cut the barrel to your desired length, then thread the barrel for internal choke tubes. He can install the sights at the same time. ;) Or...send your frame in to H&R for a Tracker II slug barrel that comes with sights, it'll cost $87 plus the cost of shipping to them.

I have done this myself a number of times!! They make VERY handi handis!! ::)

CW:  Did you add the barrel band for the sling mount or did that gun come with it?  A nice looking setup.  It looks quick.
